This is a great laptop stand. I like that the front portion of the laptop remains low, and it is elevated from the back. The angle makes typing on a desk more comfortable.I have used a ThinkPad X1 Nano and T16, and it works well with both computers, which I am impressed by given the compact size of the stand.While I use the smallest angle, the other angles would be great to prop it up higher for use with an external keyboard and mouse.I use this every day at work. It is well-designed, and it is a really good deal.I am very pleased with my laptop stand, as it allows me to adjust it to multiple positions and height. I was originally concerned about how small and compact it is, but my laptop, 15.6", is secure and stable. I am really pleased with my purchase.I like that it folds up really easily when you're not using it.I was impressed by the weight. The multiple adjustments mean I'll be able to use this for my laptop, but also my phone. What I noticed though is all the joints are very stiff. I added a drop of light machine oil to each and that was all it needed. A few drops of oil is a silly place to save on manufacturing when it's already such an eleborate mechanism.I needed this to lift one computer over another in a tight workspace. So - in using this, one computer sits above and behind the other. It works well - and it lightweight. I have other stands but they are terrible rigid, and it's hard to travel with them.This one is compact and lightweight - perfect for travel.Seems to be sturdy when holding either my Samsung S-9 or a 17" laptop. I suppose if you are a heavy handed typist it may not be as stable. I purchased mine for a computer that would basically be run by a mouse, with little typing. However, I have typed on it, and it's not flimsy.One thing to note (as I mentioned on a similar unit I purchased) - I plan to travel with this devices, so took it to the local airport TSA agent to see if I can put in my carry-on. The supervisor said that this unit would draw attention and would be at the mercy of each airport's supervisor. So - you may get it through Chicago, but not through Boston (for example). I was advised to put it in my checked luggage, to avoid issues.Last - as others have stated - there are some angles that are not conducive to typing, as it puts your wrists at an odd angle. Also, opening and closing your laptop can be a problem at certain angles, as the lid catches on the feet that actually hold your laptop in place.This does impact me in my usage of the stand, so I can't deduct points.I am very happy with this piece and have already recommended it to my colleagues. It's angle can be adjusted and it is very fit for purpose.While working from home on a laptop without external monitor, but with external keyboard and mouse, this laptop stand has been very helpful raising my laptop screen to eye height. This prevents you from looking down for long periods of time and hurting your neck.I have two other laptop stands that hold the keyboard portion of the laptop horizontally or at a small slope. With this stand, at the highest setting, I can get the keyboard portion of the laptop almost vertical. This is important to me because it gets the screen an arm’s length away (important for comfort and ergonomics) whereas the flat bottom of the other stands had the laptops too far away.This stand is made of aluminum, sturdy, and stable. The silicone pads are positioned to keep the stand from sliding on the table and from scratching the laptop. There’s multiple angles of adjustment - you can have the keyboard portion only slightly angled so that you can still type comfortably on it.The only critique I have would be for the bottom of the laptop to be completely vertical so the laptop could be even closer. I’m not sure if the stand would be able to hold the laptop up that way.The stand is lightweight, folds up compactly, and comes with a velvet case for travel. I recommend this laptop stand.I have used the stand for my Asus Strix III a 15.6 Inch gaming laptop and the comfort is great as it helped me with the viewing as now my head is looking more straight which greatly improved my comfort and personally I am impressed how a tilt of an angle can make such improvement (I use my laptop for about 5 - 8 hours a day) and the fact you can change the angle its just great for the price you get and it does support to maximum 15 inch laptops.Product comes also with a bag where you can store the stand which is a great tool meaning you don't need to worry from it scratching other items and I really think creator thinks about customers.Oh and due to fact I use gaming laptop my temperatures improved greatly so I am extremely happy with the purchase!should have had one of these from day one of my laptop days. I recommend all the lap top manufactures sell this as part of their original sale of the laptop will save health issues for the modern computing life. I even bought one of these for my friends desk top keyboard has changed his life.I hope UK government guidelines will look into this for discussion with keyboard and lap top manufactures as a part of future health drive.The item is a clever design and seems relatively good quality for the price.Arrived in a convenient package too.However it is not as advertised. It can barely hold a 10-11 inch tablet.I had to return it. The point is a seller shouldn't waste one's time and money with the wrong descriptionBrilliant laptop stand - I can't fault it. Although it is smaller than my laptop, it's very sturdy and holds it easily. I type on the laptop keyboard with no problems and the laptop stays in place. I've used it continuously for the past few days and I'm very happy with the product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those struggling with a bad back/neck due to looking down at a computer screen while working from home.Great compact laptop stand. It’s smaller in person than it looks on the pictures but it works perfectly. It’s high quality aluminium so it matches very well with my MacBook Pro. It adjusts to 6 different heights and helps reduce neck strain. Absolute bargain compared to others on Amazon. Highly recommend.
